This here was my first ever oil painting. I painted it during a time that I was very confused as to what exactly it was I was gonna do with my life. I was taking a painting course in college and was restricted into using only black and white paint, and had to perfect a painting of an egg. It was around that time that I decided to drop out of college to tattoo full time. I went to North Carolina to spend some time with my mother and also clear my head. While there, I went to the art store and bought as many different color oil paints that I could afford. I stretched my very first canvas and told myself that whatever it is I painted would be beautiful. About 3 days later, this is what I had produced. It is my most valuable painting and a constant reminder to follow your dreams. It hangs right above me in my booth as I tattoo.
